  1. How to care for and pack my flowers before sending?
There are a few steps to cater for to help your flowers reach us in the best possible condition:

    • Send us a picture of your flowers, it can be fresh or dried, through whatsapp: +230 58095395
    •  You may keep the flower in water but away from sunlight, everyday trim the stem of the flowers and change the water in the jar.
    • 24 hrs. before dropping with us hang it upside down in a place away from sunlight to remove excess water (this will remove excess humidity preventing moisture)
    • Please arrange to drop the fresh flowers within 1st week after bouquet was used or received.
    • Do not tie or wrap in plastic bags when dropping the fresh flowers, it might increase the moisture and rot the flowers inside.
    • Label your package with (YOUR FULL NAME, ORDER NUMBER AND CONTACT DETAILS)
  2. We’re going on our honeymoon the next day, how shall I get the flowers to you?
If you’re going on your honeymoon the day after the wedding, you don’t want to have to worry about your flowers. Why not rope in some of the team to help out? You can ask your mum, your maid of honour, bridesmaids or a friend to help deliver them to us. We often have our brides leaving their flowers with someone they can trust to deliver the flowers.
  3. How can I get the best results from the preservation?
There are a few things you can do to help keep your flowers as fresh-looking as possible before I receive them, which will help achieve the best preservation results. We recommend asking your florist for extra fresh flowers to last through their journey. We would also advise you to try avoiding putting your flowers down on their side for too long throughout the day as this can cause the petals to bruise, which would affect the wedding flower preservation. Ask a member of the bridal party to hold onto them for you or ask a waiter to get you a glass of water for you to pop your bouquet in. Try to keep them out of the sunlight the best you can and store them in a cool place indoors. Additionally, do NOT put your flowers in a fridge or freezer, this is the worst thing you can do. If flowers have been in a freezer, we are unable to preserve them for you. After your big day, try to get the flowers to me as soon as you possibly can so I can start working with them whilst they are still fresh.
  4. Will preserving my flowers bring a change in its colour and shape? The process of drying and preserving flowers can slightly alter the colour, depending on the flower and original colour. This is completely normal.
We use a high quality gel to preserve your flowers to retain the shape and vibrancy.
Common changes can include red roses deepening to burgundy and white flowers changing to an off-white or cream colour. The change depends on how fresh they were when they were first picked, so is completely out of our control. For white flowers, we pour using a different technique to minimise colour change as much as possible
Bruising on petals can also show as translucent spots once they’re in resin. This is generally a result of how they were handled when they were picked, and the age of the flowers. This doesn’t take away from the beauty of the flowers, and just demonstrates their delicate nature.
  5. Do I have to dry my own flowers?
Absolutely not. We will take care of the entire process. You can send us flowers that you may have already dried yourself to be preserved. However, it is not necessary for you to dry your own flowers before sending them to us.We use special techniques for wedding flower preservation, so we’re able to keep as much colour and form as possible. Our goal is to help keep the dry flowers looking as good as they did on your wedding day.If you have flowers that are already dried they can still be preserved. If they’ve been professionally dried and correctly cared for, they will be able to be preserved in resin. If you’ve had them for a long time, or you’ve dried them yourself, we’ll need to check them for mould growth prior to preserving them in resin. Please note that if this is the case, the end result will have a rustic look as we cannot bring the colour and shape back.If you’d like to check whether your flowers are suitable, simply pop some photos through whatsapp.
  6. My event was a few days ago, have I left it too late?
The answer to this is simply no, not at all. We can accept flowers sometimes up to two weeks old depending on the condition of the flowers and how they have been kept. That being said, it is best to deliver your flowers to us as soon as possible so we can start the preservation process for you and keep the flowers whilst they are in good condition. We do recommend booking in advance. However, if we have limited availability, we will squeeze you in where possible.
  7. I want to have my flowers preserved but not sure I can afford it
This is a worry many brides have. We are very considerate of those of you with strict budgets as we know planning a wedding is an expensive game. However, we believe we have something in our product range for everyone. Our flower preservation services start from as little as Rs 550, a simple bracelet as a keepsake. We also have the option of paying in halves, securing with a down payment and completing when order is ready which means you can spread the cost and shop to your heart’s content. Feel free to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up to date.
  8. How to secure my flower preservation date?
We only take a certain number of bookings each week, so don’t delay.
If you know you’d like to use our resin flower preservation service, but are unsure exactly what shape you want or which thickness to opt for, the most important step is to book yourself a slot for at least 1 resin piece to secure your date in our calendar.
