What do you need to know when opting for Resin Jewellery keepsakes.

How do I send you my pet fur and others?

Thank you for trusting us with creating your precious Resin Jewellery keepsake. Our goal is to ensure your comfort throughout this experience. Below, we’ve summarised our shipping instructions. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out via Whatsapp. Please make sure to label your parcel with contact details and order number.

or If you’re around Pamplemousses, you can simply drop your pet fur & other items  to our studio. (DURING WEEKENDS)- inform 1 day in advance before coming, to make sure it reaches us safely.

Keep in mind the following quantity when posting or sending your items for preservation.

Lock of hair and fur:

Please place a tiny amount of hair or fur into an envelope. We can craft with just 2- 3 strands of hair or fur if you wish, but generally ask for around 10-20 strands if the hair is brown, black or similar to select from. Please send us 20+ strands if the hair or fur is white, blond, red or grey. 

Umbilical cord / pregnancy kits/ echo test/ birth bracelets/ others: 

We love using your baby’s souvenirs  to make unique and exquisite resin pieces. Those little collections can be turned into a lovely long lasting keepsake. The provided umbilical cord stump is then professionally preserved in our studio upon arrival. We will always return anything we did not use for your keepsake.

As for the echo test, it’s a kind request from us, please send it as a picture attachment with your order instead of posting the echo test.  Make sure that the picture sent is of high pixels.

Breastmilk:

Generally, we ask for 20 ml of expressed breastmilk. The milk does not have to be fresh as the breastmilk is not for consumption. If your milk is frozen, we ask you to thaw it before placing it in the mail. Please send your milk in a sterile small sealed pot, wrapped in a paper towel and placed in the second provided breastmilk storage bag. Please do not use zip lock bags, as they do not withstand the pressure of logistics.

What is the turnaround time?

Good things take time. Turnaround time currently is between 8-12 weeks, but we promise It’s always worth the wait. We then cast and pour the resin in stages, allowing it to fully cure before they’re ready for pick up. 

Will my hair strands or fur be clearly visible in resin?

*PLEASE NOTE* Very fine white fur can sometimes appear translucent when placed in resin.

Can it be customised by changing the background colour or by adding flowers or flakes?

If you have any colour preference or wish to add (FLOWERS / FLAKES), Please inform us in the customisation box itself.

How to measure my wrist if I opt for a bracelet?

1. Use a tape measure, or if you do not have one, use a strip of paper, ribbon or cord. Wrap it around your wrist where you would normally wear the bracelet.
2. If you are using a strip of paper, ribbon or cord. Mark the end of the strip and then measure the length against a ruler. This is your wrist size.
3. Refer to the chart below for your wrist size and for the recommended bracelet size, which is based on a comfort fit. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between the bracelet and your wrist. Depending on your personal preference whether you like a snug fit, comfort fit or a loose fit, you may need to move up or down a size accordingly to suit your preference

Wrist Measurement: Measure the size of your wrist in cm + indicate your bracelet preference (gold or silver plated), add it in the custom section.
